EddieLeon
I think this is a student project. The tracking and character animation is impressive: Enjoy!
Frosty
Yea it reeks of Vancouver Film School or Sheridan College. I've seen a number of demo reels come out of those two places that are just jaw dropping. I find inspiring to see people commit to an idea and work so hard on it. I think back to "Flight 405", "Desert House" and "Pump Action" videos as moments that inspired me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W9y3mwBNAAg All completed by relative first timers in their basements on consumer equipment. Jim Mann
Ahhh...405. That granny in the centre lane still makes me laugh.
odouble
It's well done. I love the windows "Vista upgrading to Windows XP" screen.
Chad Warner
Yea it reeks of Vancouver Film School or Sheridan College. I've seen a number of demo reels come out of those two places that are just jaw dropping. There was a brief shot of an "Ai" logo on the door, so I would imagine it was done at one of the "Art Institutes."
John Dollus
while i'm not privy to Pump Action, both 405 and desert house were pretty far removed from basement studios. Desert house was by KD Labs - and most of 405 production was completed in an LA post production studio during off hours Good stuff to be certain but my grandma doesn't have a decked out production studio in her basement. I agree that it looks to be from one of the Art Institutes - i think Chicago.
Frosty
Desert house was by KD Labs - and most of 405 production was completed in an LA post production studio during off hours True it was KD Labs, but back then I think they were still arch students at Sci-Arc. You could very well be right about 405. I always assumed it was"just one of those home reels that blew me away. Pump Action was actually one guy in his basement!
