Maxwell craches when rendering an .fbx in Maya

Hello people, I have a big issue with Maxwell and Maya. We are modeling in 3dsmax. Then we export the file in .fbx format to be able to import it in Maya. We have all the last updates of fbx plugin. Evrything works fine and the mesh is clean, but, when we try to render the model in maya with maxwell, evrything crashes.

 

We made some tests yesterday and it looks like maxwell crashes pretty randomly, even if the model have maxwell materials with uvw.

 

We have max 2008 and maya 2008, both on windows 64, and maxwell renderer 1.7.

 

Also, i would like to have tutorials about the fbx export process between 3dsmax and maya.

 

Any ideas?
