robert taylor Posted January 15, 2009 Share Posted January 15, 2009 Hi, Is it possible to make aec windows curved,Have tried bend modifyer to no avail.I understand that i need more splines in my window object but this causes other prob`s.Do i need to work with nurbs??..Any help is greatly welcomed and appreciated. BrianKitts Posted January 15, 2009 Share Posted January 15, 2009 (edited) You could put an edit mesh on top of it, use the slice modifier and slice itup to segment it and then throw a bend modifier on top.....but you're probably better off building your own window from scratch. I find the AEC objects in general to be pretty minimal in quality so we don't use them. If there were sliders for chamfering the sills and frames I might use them but as is the harsh corners just stand out as CG.
