Max 6 does not recognize VizRender materials?

I just started messing around with Max 6 today, and imported a .DRF file created in Architectural Desktop 2004.

 

The scene was imported flawlessly, but when I entered the Material editor, all materials were messed up - they lost names, maps, everything!

But... they are shown normally in the viewports AND in rendered images!

 

So, basically, I have the complete scene, but I just can't edit the materials... :confused:

Hi Duje,

 

Try this: in the Material Editor, click the Get Material Icon (the little blue ball to the left). In the Material/Map Browser, in the Browse From section, select Scene. To edit a material in the scene, double-click it from the list and it will appear in the current sample cell of the editor.
