HDRI vs. Ozone vs. Dreamscape

Hi,

got a little question, using vray in max i use hdr picture from dosch and others to illuminate my scenes. Now i'm thinking about buying a sky generator like Ozone ( http://www.e-onsoftware.com/products/ozone/ozone_3.0/?page=2 ) or dreamscape ( http://www.afterworks.com/DreamScape.asp?ID=3 ) to do my lightings.

I believe that this is better because you just buy it one time and can do all type of sky with it, but i already gave a lot of money to build my hdr database.

what you guys think, what are your experiences ?

Ozone only works with MR, but you could create a nice Backdrop with it, dont forget to keep your eye on Terragen 2. Also there is some new developments for atmospherics & volumetrics for Vray by ICube or Someone else, saw a link the other day, can't find the link to the atmospherics but here are some links to follow.

Scatter but shows some atmos stuff.

I hear ya, but I think he wanted to use Max & Vray, but we are both missing the point, I think he wants to create a nice HDR IBL Solution with Vray, So with Ozone he would have to Create a HDR panoramic image then use that for the GI...Anyone done that? Would it be an improvement over a real Photo...Some are better than others.

thank you both for helping me guy, johnvid is right

i'm looking for a solution that i can integrate with max and vray.

i think that making an hdr from Ozone is not a optimal workflow, is easer to just take one of the hundred hdr image i already have. so i'll forget ozone till they make a vray version.

but i think that dreamscape claim to be compatible with vray, anyone has experience with dreamscape ?
