cmyk
I mapped a small .gif bitmap (a duck) at the outside of a coffee cup. But even though the alpha channel at the material editor is on I still get the picture (the duck)on the surface of the cup with a white background. Any solution? Many Thanks
bigcahunak
GIF file, even though has the ability to include transperancy, does NOT support ALPHA channel. Open your GIF in Photoshop, select your "alpha" area, save the selection in channels tab and save as TIF. Make sure the "alpha channel" is checked in the "save as" dialogue box. TGA also support alpha channels, but make sure the "as a copy" is unchecked to get the alpha feature. Good luck.
