chrisclocher
Is there any other way to draw strret lines other than drawing a plane, moving it 1/16" above the ground, and turning it yellow? They seem a little fake, should I just play with the paint color?
Tim Nelson
Think about it - in real life, the paint they use for that stuff is probably about the same thickness of 1/16" So what you are doing isn't far off from reality at all. If you want to get really detailed, you could add some noise to the edges or add dirt or something else.
Ted Boardman
Chris, Here's a link to a tutorial I did for Steven Papke's site on "painting" parking stripes with geometry. It might give you some ideas. Ted http://www.vizdepot.com/showarticle.php?s=1edd38582a416f561a635a4bc1badc90&threadid=
