schmoron13
I have a camera (target) following an arc, but I can't seem to get the camera to follow the arc clockwise. Is there a simple way to reverse this...I can't find the answer ANYWHERE.... HELP ASAP Thanks in advance
Wolf
Thats an easy one just select the arc, put an edit spline modifier on it go to vertex mode, notice that 1 vertex has a small box on it? thats where your camera starts i bet. click on make first, and click on the vertex that doesnt have a box on it this tells max to use that vertex first. also usefull to control wich way the normals are facing when you extrude an open spline regards Chris Wolf
Christopher Nichols
If you have something more complex, I think you can select all the frames in your track editor and do a scale frames of -100%...
nisus
Another option: Use the Track View path controller and change the 0% on your first fram to 100% and the 100% to 0% on your last frame. rgds nisus
Wolf
This is something i was discussing with one of my colleagues the other day... how there are usually half a dozen ways to approach a problem, and all of them will get the same job done. I sometimes see 3D as a garage full of Tools, and usually theres more than 1 way to pull out a nail.... wether its by using the claw from the hammer... a pair of pliers... or even the non cuting edge of a saw Here at our studio, we encourage everyone to help out with problems, and its funny how theres always several answers to fix things from completely different angles. Christopher Nichols
At the time it is important to look at all the of the solutions. To use your analogy: "When the only tool you have is a hammer, all your problems start to look like nails."
