jackb602
The Chicago Cinema 4D Users' group is happy to announce our next meeting. When: Wednesday Feb. 4 at 6:30pm Where: Columbia College, 600 South Michigan Ave., Room 1314 Whether you're a Cinema 4D pro or brand new to the program, this is a great opportunity to meet other local users, learn some new skills, and see how people from different fields are using Cinema 4D. We'll have two presentations as well as some giveaways and networking opportunities. Chris Schmidt will present an introduction to XPresso, Cinema's extremely powerful but underused node based expression editor. XPresso gives you a whole new level of control over Cinema through a visual interface that's very accessible to non-programmers. Jack Bransfield will present a case study of an architectural visualization project using the VrayforC4D render engine. You'll learn how to import geometry from other applications, easily set up realistic lighting and materials, and get an introduction to Vray and its deep integration with Cinema 4D. For more information on future events, please join our online community at http://groups.google.com/group/chicago-c4d Chicago C4D would like to thank Mason Dixon of the Chicago Motion Graphics Festival and Mat Rappaport of the Motion Graphics Department at Columbia College for their support. jackb602
I just want to remind everyone that the next meeting for the Chicago Cinema 4D User's Group is this Wednesday, February 4 at 6:30pm. We're meeting downtown on the Columbia College campus. The address is 600 South Michigan Ave., at the southwest corner of Michigan Ave. and Harrison St. We're meeting in room 1314. Here's a Google Maps link. Since it's in the Loop, there is plenty of public transportation. If you're driving there is also plenty of (paid) parking. An easy garage to find is the Millenium Park garage. There is an entrance ramp in the left northbound lane of Michigan Ave. about two blocks north of the building. Hope to see you there!
