appelstroop
Hello, I'm in need of 3d animated people for a good price. I found one package at Axyz-design that almost had what I need, but my employer thinks it's too expensive (485 euro). What I'm searching for is: - Young family - Familys of different ages - Children at about the age of 10 - People aged 50/55+ I need at least one (pair) of each one. The children need animations like playing in the garden. The adults need sitting and walking animations. Their clothes must be casual and some need to have bathing suits/swimming clothes. It would be nice if you can change the clothes of the characters but it's not a critical point. Can anyone help me or does anybody know where to get good people packages? Thanks in advance. Ruprect
I find the rocketbox collections to be really good.
Brian Cassil
Rocketbox would be great but if 485 Euros are too much than I'm guessing 2500 would be also. I actually think there is a gap in this particular niche that some ambitios fellow could take advantage of. Some good quality, mid price, animated people collections. IMO Rocketbox are the only ones worth getting but you have to buy the whole collection of people and it's really pricey. Something like that, sold in smaller groups and maintaining the same high quality would go over big I think.
phillip@esperient
Depending on visual quality - ProViz3D do some nice low poly animated characters which might fit the price range if you working in Max. I've only seen Rocketbox's soldier set which is awesome (but not cheap), Axyz models are also good (and depending on project budget - fair priced for what you get). cheers, Phillip
appelstroop
Thank you for your replies. The ProViz3d ones look good and i've send the links to my employer. Although if i buy the men, women and children packages i'm still missing the elderly people, which they don't have and i'm afraid it's still too expensive. Maybe I have to sacrifice some Evermotion DVD's to free up some budget. Anyway, it doesn't really matter if they are lowpoly cause the animation will be a fly trough. The animated people are just there to create a lively atmosphere and don't need close-ups. Rocketbox is too expensive unfortunately.
tayrona
People in animations is still an expensive issue. We have tried a lot of solutions, specially Axyz and Greenlayers which is a different option, they have a sale off right now... using GL you will need a post compo expert.
