VZKD
I've been looking into going to the DMVC this year and I noticed on the vismasters web page they have stated "The 2009 VisMasters Design Modeling and Visualization Conference features 17 sessions covering topics from both the Architectural Visualization and Design and Information modeling fields. With speakers from around the world, the DMVC is two full days of learning and networking." but everything else on the website indicates that its only one day? Also does any one know if they will make the video recordings available for people who do not attend the conference?
Jeff Mottle
Hey Scott, That was a typo and it's been corrected. It's just one day this year. If we do make videos available to those that do not attend, it will not be all of them. Out of curiosity why do you ask?
VZKD
Thanks for the quick reply, There are some sessions I would really like to see and I'm still not sure if I can make it.
Devin Johnston
I like the fact that session videos will be available to those who attend, that's something I've been wanting to see for a while. I'm a little disappointed that it's only a day, was there any reason why it was scaled back since the cost seems to be about the same?

Yes, the decison to move to one day this year was in repsonse to the current economy. Once things turn around I'm sure we'll expand it again to more than one day. That having been said, more sessions are being ofered this year than last year, as the length of the day has been increased. This was the main reason to record the sessions. This way you will be able to get the most out of your conference registration.
Devin Johnston
That's fair, and I will say that several of the sessions look really good I hope everything works out and I can go this year.
