codedelight
Hi there. Does anyone know a way to link vertex's of different objects so they move along with each other. Ta Hi Hopper, yes there is a way... It's called linked Xform. It's a(n) (animation)modifier. To simply test this create 2 spheres and 1 dummy. Convert both spheres to editable poly. Select sphere 1. In sub object mode select a (couple) vertex(es) and apply a Linked Xform modifier to it. (leave sub object selection on while aplying linked xform) In the linked xform modifier rolout click 'pick control onject' and select the dummy. Now move your dummy around and see that the selected vertex si moving along. Now do the same for the othe sphere and select the same dummy as control object for the selected vertex on sphere 2. Voila, all done. Does this solve your problem?
