Simple Small Bathroom - need advice

This bathroom is a progress rendering for a new rental building in NYC. The purpose of which is to aid in choosing matierals, fixtures and colors.

The owners do not want gadgets, flowers, soap dishes, etc., just the layout and look of the chosen materials and fixtures.

I need advice on camera angles and composition to show this very small space in a good way. When I go wide angle to get as much in, it, of course gets very distorted. In the first 2 pics below, I made some walls not visible to camera in order to get shot.

The room is only approx 6' x 7', with an 8' ceiling height.

As an aside, I also want to know how to get the mirror to look more like a mirror. I sometimes find that mirrors can be difficult to make out and people can't tell whether its a mirror or another part of the scene. Is there some trick that would help make the mirror to be obviously a mirror?

Thanks for any help..

Shot 2 works best IMO. Just back up the camera a little so that there is more breathing space below the toilet and move the camera a little to the left so that more of the wall on the left is showing, unless you intend to put something on the wall to the right of the image. You could also put a towel on the towel holder.

About the mirror you could try to:

- add some refraction on the side of the mirror, if it is not framed

- maybe a little distortion, not too much

- perphaps a little glossy value

- a slightly different tint

- some radial falloff, making the mirror reflect less closer to the edges

- a different colour frame around unless its not in the design

- ultimately, a mix of some of the points mentioned above, to get a more variated surface that will stand out.
