jtiscareno
Have a problem (second time this happens). Created a new mtlwrapper with a lightmtl as a base, applied the mtlwrapper to the object in my scene, it IS casting light but it is NOT rendering with a glow, it comes out a flat dull gray color.... what gives. Created a sphere just to check the model and mtl, and the same, it generates light but the sphere renders flat, like a 2d disk.... Any ideas what might be the problem and the fix??? Thanks! Joseph Petrino
I don't really understand why you need the material wrapper, but in my case check "Emit light on back side" has usually solved this problem for me.
jtiscareno
need the mtlwrapper beacuse I have found out that it is a very easy way to simulate real lighting on interior scenes. Just apply the wrapper mtl to the light layer or light panel objects and you have a good lighting solution. I figured it out, since I am using exponential I needed to up the value to 100 on the lightmtl, solved the issue! Thanks
