TomA
Hi, How do you cut / draw / create section views through 3D models in Microstation? I've done it before using the Construct Difference comand but it doesn't seem to be working now and it also seems laborious. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! Tommy Burns
I would use clipping planes which you can find in the border of the view. If you wanted you could reference in your model and clip mask that way more flexible Hope this helps
TomA
That's great thanks, but as of the last week i'm using V8i which has a 'Place Fitted Section' tool which is very useful and long overdue!
clifton
i'm new to this forum and have a question that you may be able to help me with. Using the 'Place Fitted Section' tool, it shades my model. Is there any way to make it hidden line? i can't seem to find a way to do this.
