MegaPixel
(For users of the Design Extension which gives VIZ 4 Panorama ability) Currently, when I create a Panorama VR file, The Scene is generated by rotating the Camera 360 degrees sphericaly about the Cameras center point (As if you are standing in one spot and turning around). I'd like to arange it so that the Scene is generated by moving the Camera about the Cameras Target so that you can move around a Building Exterior on a Cylindrical path (Basically a 360 degree walk-around of a Building Exterior). Is this possible in the Panorama Exporter or so I need to find some other VR App.?
Diego Rosales
Sounds tricky, since qtvr places each view on a spherical environment and calculates the perspective distortion from that, creating the "illusion" of a perfect continuity. If the camera moves, then that doesn't happen anymore. Try moving the camera for one of the sides of a qtvr and I suppose you will see a weird break in perspective. A composite that changes the camera location would be something more like a video than a pano, composed of as many single images as smooth you want it to be. Or you could do that with a real-time viewer, but the 2D approach will be lost. /Diego
