SandmanNinja
SandmanNinja says... Whenever I see ANYTHING on a freebie website like that, I get turned off. Generally there are ads and pop-ups that help offset the cost of running those sites. http://www.1and1.com has some incredibly cheap plans and you get a domain name for free. Don't you think it would be impressive to give someone a business card with http://www.MaxMontana.com on it? If nothing else, you ISP (Internet Service Provider) should give you some free webspace with your account. I think I have 10 or 20 megs for free, but I don't use it. -SandmanNinja's Wife
Nic H
buy some webspace/hosting, its very cheap. then install someting like indexhibit (free clean and very easy to use) http://www.indexhibit.org or perhaps a behance page / profile. (free) http://www.behance.net/ dont use flickr its for photos not folios also dont fall for gimmicks or flash sites they are rubbish.
Peter M. Gruhn
It seems to me unlikely that you will get individual professional presentation from a mass market generic solution.
dean@pikcells
ive seen some pretty good results from using blogs. as long as you customise it and use it properly, then it could be an easy way of maintaining your portfolio,
AFK_Matrix
Well I don't know if you have seen my post about updating my website, but my current website was created using Dreamweaver and a book about it lol. To say it doesn't look proffesional is an understatment so I am updating it slowly but surely. I would also recommend that you buy some webspace and create your own protfolio, I am currently using a web creation program called Joomla. It has a tone of templates to choose from and the extension (things like forums, photo galleries etc) are all free. It doesn't need a lot of learning and I think can turn out some quite nice websites.
