How do I get rid of the blur?

I've seen this before - and even read in a post (a couple of years back) how to resolve this issue - but that was with Mental Ray. I'd just apply the same logic to this Vray scene, except that I don't remember what the solution was.

I'm getting a gradually increasing blur on my floor map as it gets further from the camera. How is this fixed? Is it an antialiasing filter issue? I'm using Catmul-Rom, but also got the same results with Mitchell-Netravali.

Oh, and please don't mind the over-exposure and other obvious GI faults. I just wanted to get a quick imprssion of the space before adding lights.

Thanks.

what do you have the blur amount on the bitmap set to in the material editor?

generally that blur works in your favor with smaller detailed patterns as it keeps it from creating a moire effect as the texture is displayed further from the vantage point, but with that large of a tile you can normally leave it down around .1

You know, that's usually the first thing I check:rolleyes:, but for some reason I thought the culprit was something else. Turns out you were dead on.

Disco!:D
