jcsDesigns
Hi Could anyone please help me in solving this headache! I have a curved wall 2m high and 1.7 in the curved length. I am trying to add an image to the face, the image is the same size has the wall, but! when I apply this it looks incorrect? why is this and how could I solve the problem. Many Thanks
Horhe
You need to post some images or screen dumps with the curved wall and distortion.
jcsDesigns
Here is my image showing the curved wall, the image below is what it should look like. Many Thanks
BrianKitts
Use cylindrical mapping for your UV coordinates, not box mapping.
JonRashid
You have a couple of options. Put a cylindrical map on the object making sure the centre of the map is at the centre of your arc. You will then have to tweak the v repeat on your mapping coords. If you switch display map on you can do this interactively until it is correct. Alternatively you could extrude the object with generate mapping coords on. This should place your map perfectly without repeat adjustments
jcsDesigns
cannot seem to manage the cylinder option using uvw! it does not look right even when I adjust the v.... How would I do the 2nd option to extrude the object with generate mapping coords on? thanks

Claudio Branch
Cylindrical mapping should work on that surface. You will have to manipulate the gizmo and the tiling.
