x-cavity
I have sucessfully used a MR spot and Skylight ( simulating Sunlight and skylight) to create realistic outdoor scene. The effect is real enough to fool most people i show my rendering to. I'm currently mostly creating architectural visuals and attempting to create a single lighting model for both outdoor and indoor so that I have a walkthrough with consistent lighting. I got into trouble when I start having more MR Area Omni lights. When I reched a number like 3-4 lights, each new one I created will be acting strangely, like its a dummy and will not light up the surrounding... Anyone out there having this peculiar problem??? William Alexander
Are you using final gather only? Light & MR settings please and if possible post an image with the sun /sky and the one with more lights. I have used the Exposure control to lighten or darken the final image and the results of the lights. Also if you are using a light shader/s this is a different animal of lighting from the normal max thinking. WDA
