caicedor
Hi everybody, this is my first work using LWF. I have only used vray sun and sky to get the lighting... I would really appreciate critics and feedback because i dont know what else to do to achieve realism. Thanks!!!
Horhe
You could use an ambient occlusion pass on those, a little too pale and washed out I would think.
caicedor
Thanks for your reply. I think color dont help a lot, but thats what the client wants... About the ambient occlusion pass, how do i do it?? Im using vray, and really never used AO before
William Alexander
LWF .... Exposure control, gamma adjustment may very well be the culprits, along with material color values and diffuse values too high. Ambient lighting may be set to high, GI lighting is too bright or too bright for the material shader values Histogram is is pinched, image values don't spread across the full range. It's not the 'colors' being too pale but rather the there is not enough darker pixels and lighter (approaching white) to fill the full spectrum (graphic repesented in Histogram). AO Pass will help, but that's not LWF any more.... you have to use the AO shader in a slot or position to control the diffuse levels of the material, for ALL materials. The possibilites to improve are many!! Cheers, WDA
caicedor
Well i may be getting to much light from the exterior, guess i will work on that. I am really new to realistic render and have been doing lots of reading for like two weeks. Before getting with materials i will do an override vray white material render so you can see my global lighting. I guess i have to start somewhere and i think thats what i have to do. If anyone has a better thought, please let me know!! Also, i would like to keep my work linear to narrow my posibilities!! Thanks for your answers
caicedor
Well, i had some windows that are not going to be seeing only made by holes in the wall. Now i have applied glass materials to those windows to get a little less light... Here is an image, please let me know how i can improve this image!!!
