yoksomin
Hi everyone: I have a problem with an render, and after tryed some tutorials and searches...nothing yet. Iam making an exterior render with Vraysun and a map in "enviromment" (key 8) As you can see in this very low render, my enviromment map its "projected" on my "shadow wall", and i dont want this. Why this happen? Render 1: When i render only with Vraysun and Vraysky on "enviromment" (key8), that doesnt happen, but all the glass reflections disapears. Render 2: So..i'll liked to have that "background" image with glass reflections, but how can i make it, without have that "projection"? mattclinch
your environment map is "projected" most liekly because you have set the map to environment "screen" mode, which maps all reflection screen projected from the camera (does your wall have reflections??). try wrapping it as a spherical environment map instead. yoksomin
Hi, First of all, many thanks:) I just put the map on the enviromment (key 8)..i didnt set the map. After you help me, i drag and drop the "enviromment map" to the material editor and change the "screen mode" to "spherical mode" and the result was this: render: Well, the "projection" desapear, but the background map modifies and the reflections to. Why?How can i have the same background map and the reflections?without that wall "projections"? This wall doesnt have reflections;) Best regards
mhmd19732008
dear: 1-use hdri image for background. 2-drag hdri to empty slot in material editor. 3-drag hdri to both reflection & refraction in vray envireonment field. hope works..... mhmd19732008
1-for good reflections, you can use a (fallof) map for reflection. 2-google (dosch) for good hdri
yoksomin
Hi, Thanks to all! After read all the opinions,i´ve tried this... In this render i use "mattclinch" idea, and i put a enviroment map using "espherical" set, just to have the background map without those "wall projections"....thanks After i use the "mhmd19732008" idea, using a "fallof" map for reflection. Thanks The result i think its nice. For me of course, iam a beginner. Result (not final, because its very low render): Next, i'll get some HDRI images, and gonna try the "mhmd19732008" idea. Thanks again!! By the way, what you think about this image?Lighting..grass(fur)..etc?:)Some opinions will be great:) Best regards
mhmd19732008
1-use a vray camera, enable vigeniting, DOF. 2-use a mapscaler modifier for granite wall. 3-use vraydisplacement modifier for gras, use a good map for displacement. 4-add some trees, also flowers and shrubs infront of shot will be more realistic. 5-add figures. 6-make frames for windows. 7-put some interior opacity maps behind windows. 8-add lighting fixtures. 9-for GI, use IM for pri. bounces and None for sec. bounces, avoid LC in exterior renderings. hope works..... yoksomin
Hi, Thanks once more:) That was an unfinished work, and now iam gonna try those ideas "mhmd19732008". I have already mapscaler for granite wall, vraydisplacement modifier for gras:) By the way, how can i put some figures?I make an opacity map, make a plane to this map, but seems like a "double image"/"mirrored" when i render it...very strange,to me best regards, Edited February 16, 2009 by yoksomin
yoksomin
Hi, After "mhmd19732008" ideas, i made another test render. 1- IM for pri. bounces and None for sec. bounces 2 - some trees, also flowers and shrubs infront of shot 3 - Vraydisplacement on granite wall, but i dont know why in the edges apear those "black lines".(how can i fix that?) I didnt put some figures because i dont know how:( render: Sorry about all my questions, but i dont know how i can fix them. Thanks Best regards
mhmd19732008
1-remove fallof from figure plane 2-try a 3d figure, its better than opacity.
yoksomin
Hi "mhmd19732008":) Sorry but i didnt understand:(.."1-remove fallof from figure plane"?where? I dont have any fallopf..anywhere.. Ok, using a 3D figure its better, but this is one thing i would like it to know....please This is a poly plane...with the opacity and difuse map.this is only a two persons map,but appear four heheheh This is only a teste render to see the result (bad hehe). render: I have more and better figures..and this would help me very much, to make put some dynamic on my works... THANKS:) Best regards
