gsscott50@hotmail.com
Hi, I've stumbled across a new website which could be quite useful. www.polantis.com " a new web-platform allowing 100% FREE download of 3D and 2D objects for our CAD software libraries (Sketch'up, Artlantis, Autocad, Rhino, 3DS MAX etc.) The site was launched not too long ago and it already contains over a 1000 objects, textures & symbols. It's a genuine high quality online catalogue with "real-world" objects by companies as IKEA, Gloster, Duvivier and many more. It also has the usual 2D/3D figures, trees, cars and other generic architectural elements that will embellish your drawings." Seems like there is some decent stuff on there! Ron Schatz ASAI
Nice But having a Architecture illustrator job or owner selection will need to be added, yes no? I will work on polantis about that. Added the link to the good bookmarks folder.
Klokwerks
Not bad. But I'm always a fan of you get what you pay for. Sometimes if you really need something worth while its better to model it yourself or invest in quality pieces. Thanks for the site though! carlybanks
HI, this www.Polantis.com site is amazing....I work at an architecture firm and its now indispensable to me - cannot believe its free. They put thousands more objects on in the last few months, nice they are not trying to squeeze us for cash (yet) Carly B

RichBenson
Looks like they have just contacted different companies, mainly French, and asked for any free drawings or cad models. Good idea really, puts everything in one place. http://pikcells.com Edited March 13, 2012 by RichBenson web
