Robin3D
Hi, I need your help.. Again. Still working on the same scenes as before. Anyway, i've got 4 similar scenes with slight differences. Though only one crashes all the time because of error: MEM 0.5 fatal 031008: can't allocate 524000 bytes. Is this a memory problem? I'm on a system with 4 GB RAM. I used to rarely get this error, but now i can't even render anymore. Though it seems it crashes at random times (sometimes in the beginning, now at pretty much halfway). Also rendering in Exposure control isn't possible. I'm on a Vista 32 bit system. SandmanNinja
A quick Google found these hits: http://area.autodesk.com/index.php/forums/viewthread/12861/ http://www.highend3d.com/boards/index.php?showtopic=242769 http://forum.cgarena.com/viewtopic.php?t=6750 I've also found if I switch from BSP to BSP2 it helps with limited memory. Rendering -> Render Setup -> Renderer (tab) -> Rendering Algorithms -> Ray Tracing -> Raytrace Accelleration [x] Enable Method: BSP2
Robin3D
The first link did it for me. Guess it was just a memory problem with Vista. Thanks.
