Sketchrender
Hi Is there a way of rendering out all the passes and they will be saved as one file type to be adjusted in Photoshop? I do not have combustion, so what is the answer. Is there a box that i have not found yet in Vray that compiles all these files in to one. Thank you phil
BrianKitts
No you aren't missing a speacial box, it's possible but it's not something that's easy to see how to do. in the frame buffer rollout where you save to file as a .vrimg, set your file to save, but change the extension to an .EXR file type. When it renders it will add all the additional render elements into the EXR file. You will need to purchase the ProEXR plugin for photoshop ($95 USD) to handle the multilayered EXR, once you have that installed, do an "open as" in photoshop and set it to ProEXR, and select your file, it will open up with all your render elements seperated out on their own layers all in one file. I'm really hoping that SP3 incorporates the ability to save out multilayer EXRs because as is now you can't easily batch render these multilayer EXRs because of using the VRIMG slot to save your file type/location. It can be done with rendering presets.... but that would be a pain.
mhmd19732008
use vrimg2exr, it converts vrimg files to exr format and you can open it with photoshop cs3, otherwise you need to download a plugin for photoshop, its free somewere in this forum.
