North direction for shadow study (Australia)

Hi,

 

I've searched for similar topics but didn't find the info I need.

 

I'm preparing some shadow study diagrams in Max and was wondering if any OZ user out there knows which North (True North, Mapping Grid of Australia North, etc) Max uses. Because the shadow study could end up in court hearing, this is vital info for me.

Since it's such a delicate matter, maybe a post in The Area is a good idea.

 

But I'm sure Autodesk will put a disclaimer waiver to prevent you from seeking legal action against them if their software is wrong.

 

The help file has this to say:

The Sunlight and Daylight systems use light in a system that follows the geographically correct angle and movement of the sun over the earth at a given location. You can choose location, date, time, and compass orientation.
