bharris
Hello, I have a question about Project folders. I have maps referenced in the scene from various places on my hard drive (and external drive). I use the Resource Collector to collect all maps, .max file, etc. and put them in the common folder once i finish a scene. (e.g. C:\scene\scene X\) I'd like to be able to move or copy that folder to other locations and be able to open the scene with all the maps referenced to the path of wherever the .max file is located in. Thanks in advance, Brett
Crazy Homeless Guy
Use the script below.... Tell it where to save the file, and it will svae it there, copy the textures to that folder, and re-path the assets so that it look in the same folder as the max file. http://scripts.breidt.net/ MB Resource Collector v0.1 beta All that aside, perhaps you should look into working in a more organized fashion, an collect all of you assets in a central server location. amer abidi
use The script linked by Travis above, or to do it manually after using resource collector and placing them in desired directory, go to: File>Asset tracking (or Shift-T) select all the maps in your file, and set their new path to the new location needed (from the `paths` tab)
