batfink82
I like the composition of the image and minimalist styling. But I think the bed needs better pillows, it could do with a duvet as well. This could introduce another colour to the room, this could then bleed onto the white floor. I think the wooden headboard could do with some adjustment, maybe it could have a slight gloss/sheen finish. It would look nice to have a brushed steel bedside light to throw around some specular highlight and reflection. There seems to be a some render noise in the back corner (left of the mirror). For me the blinds are too solid they almost look like steel. Lastly I think the detail of the model is too burnt out, i would be tempted to try a simple AO render overlaid to in PS to bring it back slightly. I think this could be a really good image..........the comments are just my 2 cents! Hope this helps.
innerdream
What you don't like the pillows from the homeless shelter? LOL Good points all, thanks for the reply. The headboard does have reflection, blurred, maybe too subtle...
Crazy Homeless Guy
The grout lines on the floor are awfully rounded and deep. Maybe not sophisticated enough for a luxury interior. If a lady walked across those in heels she is sure to twist an ankle in the groove. I would use a higher resolution, sharper bump map to eliminate that problem. The bed mattress could use some work also. Though about 95% of the sheets on rendered beds don't look right anyway.
innerdream
Thanks CHG. Funny I have the same tiles in my kitchen but I usually don't wear heels when I cook. I actually have a hard time with that material for floors, I have to make some new ones.

I could be wrong, I will be the first to admit that, but they struck me as maybe a 6"x6" or 8"x8" tile that has been scaled up to 2'x2'.

alfienoakes
really nice image.. but.. I cant help looking at that tiny bedside lamp, and wondering why its turned on when its so nice and sunny out side..!!! I reckon it would look better without it, and perhaps a little more realistic in terms of its contribution to the scene. Other than that, I really like it..
