huntch3 Posted February 27, 2009 Share Posted February 27, 2009 Hi I'm trying to produce vector lines, or just lines from the geometry of my 3d model, so I thought of using a toon shader...which makes the lines look really ugly/not clean....and I've also tried importing my model into sketchup, inorder to then turn the sketchup model into a vector line drawing....but the problem with importing into sketchup was that all the geometry was 'triangulated" on the surfaces of the objects.....any suggestions? Is there a way to get rid of the triangulation of polygons? Or rather, a good way to produce vector line drawings from a 3ds maz model? thanks for any input!
