Reuven
Project oriented tutorials, based on technical illustrations, in image format. very little text, with full wire frame provided in Rhino file format. You open the Rhino file provided, you activate the layer with the appropriate wire frame, as the tutorial guide you, at the same time as your image viewer with the tutorials, you alternate between them as required. You in person transform the wire frames on your computer screen into solids and surfaces, based on the tutorials, one stage at the time, as the tutorials guide you, The tutorials show you the toolbars and the icons required, in every stage of the creation and the order by which to use them, you also get the complete set of editing items where required. When you notice numbers in the beginning of a text box, this indicate the order to follow to complete the task with your CAD program. To understand the technical illustration you have to follow the numbers at the beginning of the text box, and understand the content one small section at a time. The advantages of this system: 1. You learn by observation, with very little reading. 2. You learn and remember by practicing in person, not by reading confusing text. 3. You will see first hand, the correct selection of icons to complete a task. 4. Good understanding of wireframes combination to complete a project. 5. Good understanding of editing techniques 6. This is the express way to go forward. By the way, learning 3D is an open end project, it will never end, how far we are from the beginning it is the main issue. If you have a suggestion for a new tutorial project let me know, thank you.
