cloakfiend
Hi, Is there any way of preventing the camera from rolling when you look underneath the camera. (not using the free cam as both target and camera need to move). i.e. I need the camera to follow a path that looks forward and down without spinning and turning upside down on me? i've tried all the axis buttons which seem to make the camera point in crazy directions even if i have it targeted with a path constraint? Its driving me nuts! Please. any suggestions? Can i remove roll from the camera constraints section?
cloakfiend
Imagine filming a car coming from around a left corner (the target) and heading towards you under a bridge and as it passes you the camera simply stays locked onto it so that it ends up driving away from you and the scene is upside-down. Can this be done with both the camera target and the camera following path constraints?
JonRashid
You could use the look at controller.
Stephen Thomas
I would think you have to use a free camera. You can use a target camera up to that point then clone your camera, switch the toggle to free cam and rotate it about the x-axis to do the move you described and it will pick up from where your target cam left off. amer abidi
as said above, a free camera with a look at constraint should give you exactly what youre after.
