YOHKOH
Hi there is it possible to have a self illuminating material but with an opacity map as you would have in a standard vray material. Essentially i'm trying to texture bake a tree onto a flat plane I've doen it with a standard max material but the self illumination renders washed out. ta
Thablanch
You do not need it to be self_illum.. just the opacity map does the job.....
YOHKOH
Thanks for the reply i do need it to be self illuminating because i'm rendering an animation and don't want to light the tree. Just apply a texture bake.
