caicedor
Hi, ive opened this thread to share about an experience i had making a full whisky bottle. I made it with the lathe modifier, using 2 splines. First i outlined the half of the bottle and mae the bottle itself, giving it some thickness. Then i copied the inside bottle part of the spline and made its contents, the whisky. Applied materials and rendered. I had an awful result, showing the planes from the bottle. (I have included an image of my result). I was really confused and tried several things, until i scaled very little my whisky object (99%), and rendered again. The problem was solved!!!! I would like somebody´s experience in similar cases, and also some tips about modeling glass objects containing liquid transparent objects. Thanks very much!!! Ky Lane
Just use a matte material on a ground plane.
SandmanNinja
Nice scene, Ky. I bet you have a lot of 'reference models' around the house...
