isaac_cm
hello I have a general question about how to scale a cylinder in one direction instead of scaling both start and end ? Thanks
SandmanNinja
Switch to perspective view and then grab the handle on the axis that you want to stretch.
isaac_cm
it stretch in both sides , however I found that by moving the pivot to one of the side I can scale in one direction , is this the only solution ? by the way alt+x did not turn on xray on view port do you know why ? SandmanNinja
What graphics driver / display mode are you using - Direct X or OpenGL. I think it only works in one of them. You can also slap a generic material onto the model and then vary the opacity to get a see-thru effect. I often set my time line to 10 units and keyframe animate the materials opacity. That way, I can just slide my time line to vary the opacity from 100% to 0% very easily.
amer abidi
by the way alt+x did not turn on xray on view port do you know why ? Go to object properties and set the display properties to "by object" instead of "by layer".
