sourabhb
Hello everyone, this is my first attempt to render interior Scene using radiosity.i am facing some problems with my render, nedded some help with my render, will be really greatful A) Getting light lekouts in this area B)black dots appearing in ceiling pattern C)any Parameter,to achieve glossy reflections on floor(Like in Vray,by reducing refl. glossiness value)..and not these "water type" reflections. D)have added one omni inside lamp...though light is scattering around the sorroundings..but i am not able to light up my lamp. Attaching my scene render and render settings...i have used daylight system and added 2 point lights in my scene
disidente
try to make your omni light a inverse square decay. try to add some opacity & self ilumination to the lamp material
John Dollus
A. looks like a light leak - check the geometry there to make sure both surfaces terminate at an edge and they don't run beyond each other. Accurate modeling is essential with radiosity. B. looks like it could be a smoothing group issue - if you created the ceiling detail with a sweep, make sure you smooth along the shape but not the path c. depends greatly on the material - can you post your floor material settings?
