max.m
hi, i want to improve my skills in doing dusk-night images. c+c very welcome
Horhe
Overall the image could use some more contrast, especially the lights inside the house, at the moment they are too washed out and uniform. Always helps to look for reference night shots, just to know where abouts you should be heading. Edited March 11, 2009 by Horhe
8tintin
I think the same, you could prove with orange lights inside the house maybe.
innerdream
Looks good. Imo the hdri/background and the architecture are too similar in color. A contrasting background maybe something more purple or blue and warmer interior lights would help.
max.m
thanks for your repkies, will integrasde them in an update. i made another version of this project. i realise that i have problems in coordinating my post work(over all the skies) with renderings that are tinted by sunsets etc. iactually in this image i haven`t found a fitting sky (which should get darker to horizon as the sunset is in front of the house...) and therefore used a daylight-sky. innerdream
Evermotion has some free hdri's at sunset. Check them out.

Guest FlaviusC
Indeed...the grass and the hedges are awesome..How did you do those? However..I think the sky is too clear/blue for the currrent lighting..you could try to tint it in photoshop I thing. Are you rendering with alpha channel?
