Net Render Single Images

Does anyone out there know if Max 5.1 has a similar facility that I find very useful in Viz...'Region Net Render'. Using this I can send a single image to be rendered via several computers over the network and then join it back up into one single image..very quick and useful!

But I can't find a similar command in Max. Help!

Sorry I have no idea... I use Vray to do net rendering ;) Cant be that hard. Looks like you just fire up backburner on all your machines, hit new job in the region net render job manager box, set your number of slices, overlaping area, image size, file name, hit next, connect to all your render slaves then hit submit! Easy eh :D

Hi,

any way to assign 2 jobs in the same time, if i am using network rendering?

this is the situation, I have about 14 angle of perspetive to render, and then we have 3 dual machine, currently I use them in network rendering, but, they only do one after another, so I was wondering whether any way to force 2 jobs on the same time using network rendering (so one machine can do 2 jobs concurrently), so I can save my timing and no need to open the file one by one render.

sorry about my language, if you got confused:)

thanks

Hi All

Well I managed to solve the problem 2 ways.

Firstly I installed the free SNFR plugin that Quizzy suggested and it worked a treat!

Secondly I found out about the Design Extension from Discreet that gave me all the Viz tools in Max for free!, including Net Region Render, so I am now using this great little tool!!!
