zootsuit
Hi there I've been using Viz 2006 for about a week now (I know its out of date, but it's all I have at the moment!) so you'll have to excuse my limited knowledge. I want to a realistic grass for use in exterior scenes. Ive tried to follow Jeff Patton's Grass displacement tutorial found on his website but when I come to the displacement map I cannot find a 'Height Displacement Map' inthe map browser. The nearest I can find is '3D displacement', ans I cannot therefore followthe rest of the tutorial. Is this because the height displacement map doe snot feature in Viz 2006, or if it does can someone direct me to it? Again sorry for my lack of knowledge, this is all pretty new and overwhelming after Sketchup! Zootsuit ps. i have posted in the viz forum as well but it looked a little unused! Tommy L
you just need a suitable bitmap in there. Or use a noise map instead.
