Tim Nelson Posted March 14, 2009 Share Posted March 14, 2009 I'd say for the best results you'll have to trace it - either with splines in max, or in a higher resolution image in photoshop to get clean smooth lines. This was the best I could quickly do with displacement. I enlarged it in photoshop and did a levels adjustment and painted out some spots. Its not bad, but you can still see the irregular edges.
