innerdream
Hi Thomas, A few things I think would help. I think you should lower the camera to a humans view, the textures on your wall to the right are tiling, the grass looks funky, and the sun and shadows look a bit harsh. Also that tree needs to go, see if you can find a better one.
kbotnen
I am looking for feedback on lighting and ways to improve it. At this stage I would have concentrated on texturing first. You have to get rid of the repeating textures that are presents in your gras, and in all of your brickwork. Find some good textures on the net, there a plenty of resources out there, remeber to bookmark as you go The glas in the house has to stand more out, make it darker or something. See if you can supply some real skies in postwork. Or even better, a sunset This you can even do in rendering if you want, but it will ofcourse take your daytime scene to the late hours, hehe. -K-
Horhe
Thomas, I agree with what has been said. Good show that youre trying to implement the models of trees that you have made from scratch (if Im not mistaken). I feel the POV is neither here or there, it is between an aerial shot and a person point of view. I would first try to create a view a persons height, as aerial veiws tend to be more difficult, especially when one has to make all the terrain from scratch.
