michael76
Hi there.I use 3ds max to model buildings from floorplans and elevations and i've heard that modeling in SU could be much faster. It's really impressive how clean in the mesh from SU to max.So my question is how do you model in SU?I mean not only from a floorplan but from elevations of a building too.Can SU beat max in this field?Searching over the net didn't came up with an elevation tutorial for SU and how can i model in such a way and then import it to max. AJLynn
Yeah, "How do I use Sketchup" is a bit too broad a question to be asking in a forum. But usually what I'd do is import the plans and elevations, place the elevations in 3D on the plans then model from the elvations, making Components for repeated elements like windows.
