ReneRumberg
So there is my problem. When I lets say create a one vray light plane on top of the sofa then I'm not able to see shadows/highlights on the sofa. I do see those shadows/highlights when I render the picture but I have to see them before when I'm start rendering it because when my sofa is too bright then it means that the vray plane is too near to it or its multiplier is too high and I have to lower it and it sucks not to be able to see it. I can even draw one huge mother f****** plane of the size of my room and turn the multiplier up to the 999 and I'm still not able to see any changes til I render it. I didn't have this problem before tho. 2 days ago it was fine, I was able to see shadow casts/highlights on the objects before the rendering but I can't anymore... What might be wrong? rmccoy
it could be that you accidently hit ctrl+L and changed the way your lights are previewing in your scene. not totally sure if that is right though
ReneRumberg
YES! I love you man! That was the problem. One thing I hate about 3d Max is that EVERY single button has something assigned, so when you press something accidentally and you don't know what button did you hit and it will fu** something up then it irritates you. Thank You again. Edited March 27, 2009 by ReneRumberg
rmccoy
I'm glad I could help. I do love short cut the shortcut keys. However, when you start missing the ones you want you can really mess things up lol. Oh well.
