I like the XFrog trees and their flowers look fantastic (although I don't own any, beyond their free ones and the Asian Tree set).

Here's an image of mine with the bamboo. It looks bad in this image, but it can be changed easily (bending it a little, thinning it out, all things I mean to do...someday), but the texturing is really nice.

Heres' that set I have:

Here's some palm trees for you:

The prices are very reasonable, and, from what I can see, are a significantly better value than Bionatics trees (you get 20-25 for the price of one Bionatics tree, plus their are good, close up pics of the models). Keep in mind, though, that unless you have their software (see Jeff's favorable review on the main page), the poly count is huge. I have not tried to optimize mine, so that could help.

Quality stuff, though, and good service (my email questions were answered immediately).

I like their stuff and it's all marketed in a logical way (where as the Bionatics I would find it hard to pay several hundreds to have a few trees).

I plan on buying several more in the near future.

Hi,

I have choosen Bionatics and so far I am very happy. I tried the xfrog staff but the Bionatics plant realism and modeling capacities were superior for my work, specifically when it comes to polygon count. I use their bamboos which look good. Here is an example. They posted some of my work on their website gallery : http://www.easynat.com.

If you need discounts, email me and I will forward your requets to the people I know there....they are nice.

Cheers

Petros
