Michael J. Brown
I know there must be a simple solution to prevent the severe light bleeding I'm getting here. I'm guessing one of my settings is just not high enough. Please advise.
Dave Buchhofer
try check sample visibility in irradiance map, also try secondary ray bias to a very small number (.001) in globals
Michael J. Brown
Will I need to reset my Irradiance and Light Cache maps when I re-render?
Brian Smith
Dude, You have some bizarre and unusual settings going on. I'd start over with the default settings and change only things when you know for certain what they do. I don't think that's light leak. I think it's your inaccurate light cache. You have your sample size set way high at 0.1. That should be left at default (0.01) to start with. Besides that, you've also got interpolation turned off on LC, PreFilter turned on, and Number of passes possibly set to low for your machine. The biggest culprit to true light leaking is when you don't have 'Check Sample Visibility' turned on in the irradiance map....but that aint the problem here cuz this aint light leaking.
