Hi, is there a way to export some file, so when i give it to a friend, or a render farm it simple open or import that file and do the rendering? Maybe from backburner, i dunno. I simply don't want to give them the whole .max file, just a render file and the textures if needed.

I need to send my scene to some ppl for rendering production, and instead of sending then the whole .max, i was wondering if i could export a file for that ppl so they can open it and render the sequence. That .vrscene works that way? i mean, if i send it and my textures to them, they can render the scene? Thx.

open your scene in 3ds MAX and then go to:

File => Archive.

and then save is where you want, it will be .rar folder, included with all your materials which you use in your max scene

hope it helps you

Well thx, didn't know that, its a nice way to have all the things i used for my scene.

But what i want is to send a file, that the guy who receives it open it, and just render, without seeing how i did my scene, and my setups, instead of opening my .max file and hit render, that's just a fast explanation, dunno if there is a way to do that.
