leoviale
Hi, is there a way to export some file, so when i give it to a friend, or a render farm it simple open or import that file and do the rendering? Maybe from backburner, i dunno. I simply don't want to give them the whole .max file, just a render file and the textures if needed.
martincg
if you are rendering with vray zou can try - .vrscene tip: http://www.franticfilms.com/software/support/deadline/vrayfaq.php for what reason do you need that? if for remodeling reason, try .vrmesh /proxy/ mental ray has something similar i think - proxy objects Edited March 31, 2009 by martincg
leoviale
I need to send my scene to some ppl for rendering production, and instead of sending then the whole .max, i was wondering if i could export a file for that ppl so they can open it and render the sequence. That .vrscene works that way? i mean, if i send it and my textures to them, they can render the scene? Thx.
nodar1978
open your scene in 3ds MAX and then go to: File => Archive. and then save is where you want, it will be .rar folder, included with all your materials which you use in your max scene hope it helps you I need to send my scene to some ppl for rendering production, and instead of sending then the whole .max, i was wondering if i could export a file for that ppl so they can open it and render the sequence. But what i want is to send a file, that the guy who receives it open it, and just render, without seeing how i did my scene, and my setups, instead of opening my .max file and hit render, that's just a fast explanation, dunno if there is a way to do that.
