WAcky
Its a pain in the a$$ for sure. I would recommend giving a plugin called "batzal roof designer" a try. Its not too expensive and once you're up and running it's so quick. That plugin + vrayproxy = a dream
ankit4d
I also hate using textures for roof. Most of the time i create 3d shingles and convert them to Vray proxy. Batzal roof designer is a very nice tool, i had tried it..little difficult to understand in starting but very easy once we understand the concept...it also has a fully functional 14 days trial. rebecca14
I think it is depends on you if you wanted to replace or remodel. But for me it is better if you will replace it to a new shingle roof. Then the size will also depends on the size of the old roof you have replace. online Edited August 2, 2010 by rebecca14
