selos69
Hi Guys, I've just 'upgraded' to 2009 (a little late I know). Specs are as follows: XP 64-bit Dual Quad Core Intel Xeon @ 2mghz each 8 gig ram Nvidia Quadro FX 4600 About 80% of the time when I'm selecting / deselecting an object the viewport jumps. Sometimes a little, sometimes quite significantly. Last time I had this problem was when I changed to 2008. I think it was the driver but I can't remember. Has anyone had / resolved this problem? I'm getting so pissed off with this :mad: . Chris. P.S. I've downloaded the latest driver and it happens in openGL, Direct3D and the MaxStream driver. bev.lynn
Hi Chris, I have two possible solutions. 1. Go to: Views > Viewport Configuration Select SteeringWheels Tab Uncheck Selection Sensitivity (see attached image) If this does not solve your problem then: 2. Rename the AutoCamMax.bak (in the stdplugs folder in max) to something else like .old. This was supposed to be resolved with SP1 so be sure to install it if you have not done so. I hope this helps. selos69
That's done the trick! Thanks Bev. Why the hell do they have that option selected as default damn it?
