tlunnuk
I am performing a small upgrade to my workstation (converting it to a 64-bit operating system). Currently i have a western digital velociraptor (10,000 rpm) harddrive. I like the harddrive, its definitely fast, but it is also loud as all hell. I am thinking about switching to a quality solid state harddrive (roughly 128 GB....$350) in order to get a longer life span, less noice, and maybe a little more speed. Any opinions? I store all my information of external drives, thus I only use maybe 32 gb of space and run Max, photoshop, and CAD
