Render times are longer with pre-calc maps

Hello, I am rendering a static animation and have followed the typical steps. I have done this before so I know it works in the past.


But on this scene for some reason when I load the LC and IRmap and render it takes about an 1 hour a frame as opposed to the 8-10mins when I use the single frame option. I use dynamic memory for both because Static crashes. I have vray fur and vray proxy objects. But again this all woks fine when using the single frame option.


I am guessing it has to do with memory, because that is the only explanation. It should be taking roughly the same time to calculate the final pass with the single frame option as it would with the pre-calculated IR and LC right?


Any ideas would be much appreciated!
