Jeff Mottle
I thought I would share an image from my color management chapter in 3DATS new book. Excerpt: I have taken two photographs and composited them together. The inset on the left is a close up of the rendering as seen on my monitor. The image in the foreground is a print of that same image. I photographed the image in natural daylight to show you how well color management can work even without special lighting. As you can see they match almost identically. Proof that color management really does work. No color adjustments were done to either image in the composite! Ricardo Eloy
Great test, Jeff! Just like here (except my skies look a bit greener than the print outs and the grass looks a bit more yellow...damn! )
